Things are bright in 2008 for Justin Allgaier as he will head into his third year of full-time ARCA RE/MAX Series competition. The 22 year-old driving Phenom is on the verge of big things in his racing career and hopes to show that he has the talent to climb into the next ranks of NASCAR with his performances this year.
The ARCA RE/MAX Series has a long history of young up-and-coming drivers making their way through as part of a career path to NASCAR; the list of current and former NASCAR superstars who drove in the series is impressive. Kyle Busch, Juan Pablo Montoya, Kyle Petty, Ryan Newman, Adam Petty, Reed Sorenson, Davey Allison, Tracy Leslie, Ernie Irvan, Dick Trickle, Jeff Purvis, Darrell Waltrip, Mike Wallace, Kenny Irwin, Kirk Shelmerdine, David Keith, Ron Hornaday, Casey Mears, Scott Riggs, Joe Ruttman, Mark Martin, Benny Parsons, Ken Schrader, and Michael Waltrip are among those who have competed in the ARCA RE/MAX Series races over the course of the series rich history.
In 2008, Allgaier looks to continue showcasing his talents and look to get noticed after a successful 2007 race season campaign where he finished fourth in the Championship point standings. He posted one win (Salem II), four top-five, and ten top-10 finishes.
During the 2006 ARCA season, Allgaier scored one win, seven top-fives, and eight top-10 finishes in only 21 of 23 events. Allgaier is particularly good on the two dirt tracks on the schedule Springfield and DuQuoin Speedways. Dirt races seem to be where many other teams seem to falter but not Allgaier; he scored his first career win with a last lap pass at his hometown track in Springfield, Illinois at the Illinois State Fairground. In 2005, he finished second after posting the Pork Pole award there. Allgaier has two wins in the series (Salem 2007, Springfield 2006)

Its no wonder that Allgaier excels on the dirt. He is a veteran of UMP dirt late models. Allgaier began building momentum in his racing career decades ago. He is a 5-time national quarter midget champion with more than 100 feature wins. At just 14-years-old, he became the youngest driver in history to advance to the main event at the Chili Bowl in Tulsa, Oklahoma. And now, at 21 years old, his career is only gaining speed.
Despite his dirt track and open wheel past, Allgaier is quickly establishing himself as a racers racer. He has a plethora of good finishes on ARCA short tracks and Superspeedways. Since his first ARCA RE/MAX Series start in 2002, he has acquired two wins and top-five finishes on a diverse range of tracks, including Springfield, Toledo, Salem, Du Quoin, Kentucky and the Milwaukee Mile,. You still see Allgaier during ARCA off-weeks, in his dirt late model traveling to race Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Allgaier has also competed in select NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series events in 2005 and 2006.

Allgaier spends much of his time in the shop, preparing for the upcoming events. The talented young driver has confidence that the team has a good chance of finding success in 2008 and beyond. He will no doubt have his work cut out for him. But if drive and determination are any indication, Justin Allgaier will be a dominate storm to reckon with throughout his career.
